We announce the death of Elizabeth Burns of Fayetteville, North Carolina, who passed away on July 7, 2026, at the age of 85. Elizabeth will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Elizabeth will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Elizabeth will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Elizabeth’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Clark and Edna Clark; her husband Bobby Joe Williams; her brother Dan Clark; and her son-in-law Robert D. Munn.
She is survived by: her significant other Lannie Ellis of Fayetteville, NC; her children, Brenda Munn (Eddie Hall) of Ammon, NC, Joseph Williams (Jennifer) of Autryville, NC, Jason Williams (Christina) of Spring Lake, NC and Kerry Vick (Les) of Fayetteville, NC; and her sister Melanie Rosser (Tim) of Autryville, NC. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.
