He is survived by: his wife Shirilene Walker Jones; his children, Maria Ellis, Jeffrey Walker, Thad Walker and Jermain Jones (Fayetteville); his siblings, Rechard Jones, Mitchell Jones (Chadbourn), Tim McDowell (Mabel), Jeffrey Melvin (Fayetteville), Mary Covington (Bobby), Helen Hair (Chadbourn) and Lizzie Gore (Fair Bluff); his siblings-in-law, Evelyn Johnson, Virginia Jones, Selina Sinclair (Arthur), Linda Lamb (Fayetteville), Shavon Vaughnes (California), Henry Lamb and Arthur Sinclair (Fayetteville); his grandchildren, Antwon Stocks, Anthony Stocks, Aaron Stocks, Akila Connor, Tashae Pagues, Elizabeth Walker-Hill, Tiara Walker, Jayla Walker, Ryan Walker, Treasure Walker, Raniya Griffin, Erica Curlee, Nigel Walker and Rodrick Lewis; and his great grandchildren, Venus Curlee, Aaron Stocks Jr., Michael McKay Jr., Cali Stocks, Adaysia Stocks, Ace Stocks, Antonia Stocks, Alaia Stocks, Jesde Harris and Jai'Cean Pegues. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Christ Missionary Baptist Church (5422 Raeford Rd, Fayetteville, NC 28304).
