She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert I. Tew and Rovella McLamb Tew; her husband Thomas B. Duncan; and her siblings, Samuel, Oscar, Duvelle, Robert (R. I. Jr.), Hubert and Lola.
She is survived by: her daughter Carolyn Ramirez (Rudy); her grandchildren, Beverly Gregory, Ronald Gregory (Beth), Donna Thornton (Trebor) and Sean Ramirez; her great grandchildren, Kaden McCombs (Gwen) and Karlee Redden (Kade); and her adoptive daughter Helen Bell. She is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:15 PM at the Rogers & Breece Funeral Home (500 Ramsey St, Fayetteville, NC 28301). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Rogers and Breece Chapel (500 Ramsey St, Fayetteville, NC 28301).
