She was predeceased by : her husband Nathan Royal; her son Richard Wayne Royal; her parents, George Capps and Alice Capps; and her siblings, Virginia Cathey, Agnes Miller, Wingate Capps and Donald Capps.

She is survived by : her son Micheal Royal (Tina); her grandchildren, Natalie Dixon (Jamin), Nicole Nemmers (Justin) and Richard Royal (Courtney); and her sister Dorothy Harris. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
