She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Quick and Kathleen Quick; her husband James Thompson; her son Jimmy Lee Thompson; and her siblings, Clyde, Donald Ray, Roy, Joe, Ralph, Dennis Quick and Diane Wood.
She is survived by: her children, Paul Thompson, Mary Marren (Dale), Alice Wilkes and Gary Thompson; her granddaughter Kori Seymour (Steven); her great grandchildren, Khloe, Kelsey and Kayleigh Seymour; and her sisters, Christine Cardenas and Gladys Huggins. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pinecrest Funeral & Cremation Services (4721 Dunrobin Dr, Hope Mills, NC 28348). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at the Cross Creek Cemetery.
