Frances Carnright Smith Obituary
We announce the death of Frances Carnright Smith of Fayetteville, North Carolina, who passed away on October 24, 2026, at the age of 93. Frances will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jason Carnright and Frances Carnright (Dulsky); her husband George; her grandson Michael; and her siblings, Jason, Virginia, Gaynell, Dorothy, Richard, Carol, Joseph, Leonard and Mary Ann.
She is survived by: her sister Joyce; her children, Gaynell Trimmer (Carl Mitchell), Marc (Maryann) and James (Kelly); her grandchildren, Laura (Jack), Alison, Nicole, Christopher, Nina and Caroline; her great grandchild Kyleigh; and her sister-in-law Karen Carnright. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, their children and grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 13th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (2844 Village Dr, Fayetteville, NC 28304). A Mass will be held on Friday, November 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
