He is survived by: his wife Florence McNeill Melvin; his children, Charles McNeill and Marquita McNeill Kemp; and his siblings, Maurice Allen, Jack Melvin Jr., Dr. Mary Hales, Jacqueline Smith and Tracey Fisher. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Wiseman Mortuary (431 Cumberland St, Fayetteville, NC 28301). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mt. Zion AME Zion Church (3399 Dunn Rd, Eastover, NC 28312).
