We announce the death of Gary Knox of Fayetteville, North Carolina, who passed away on September 9, 2026, at the age of 70. He is survived by: his wife Connie McPherson Knox; his daughters, Tywanda McPherson and Sophia Williams (Kevin); and his brothers, John Jr., Douglas, Bruce and Stephen Knox. He is also survived by grandchildren and seven (7) great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Mt. Hebrew A. M. E Zion Church (6830 Ramsey St, Fayetteville, NC 28311). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
