With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Gordon Dixon of Fayetteville, North Carolina, born in Roanoke, Virginia, who passed away on July 27, 2022 at the age of 77. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of George Gordon Dixon to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jasper Dixon and Jacqueline Dixon; and his brother Faulkner Dixon. He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Meg" Dixon; his sons, John T. Dixon and J. Nolan Hyde; his brother John F. Dixon; and his close friends, Dr. Mark Kendrick and James Merkel.
