It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hurley Young Jr. of Fayetteville, North Carolina, who passed away on July 22, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hurley David Young and Juanita Bill Young; his wife Joyce; his son David; and his siblings, Barbara and Gerald.
He is survived by: his children, Judy Gessler (John), Ninita Young (Michael), Timothy Young, Thomas Young (Lisa) and Farren Young (Tonia); and his sisters, Jackie Morris and Kitty Tew (Gerald). He is also survived by 22 grandkids, 31 great grandkids, and 6 great- great- grandkids.
