She is survived by: her children, Olga Iris Cabrera-Arroyo of Puerto Rico, Jose Manuel Cabrera and Jessica DeJesus-Canales of Fayetteville; her grandchildren, Natasha Perez of Fayetteville and Jorge Mercado; her brothers, Eluid A. Canales, Efrain Arroyo and Simon Canales Arroyo of Puerto Rico; her niece Lissette Gomez; and her nephew Jesus Canales.

Viewing was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Herring Funeral Care & Cremations (2720 Murchison Rd, Fayetteville, NC 28301).
