He is survived by: his significant other Jean Adkins; his children, Jeanne Adkins Howell (Timothy Howell) of Raleigh, James "Jimmy" Adkins of Fayetteville, Judy Adkins Cordova (Adam) of Fruitvale, TX and Julie Adkins Busby (Robert) of Fayetteville; his grandchildren, Brandon Howell (Amanda), Jennifer Needham (Joshua), April Pratt and Ashlyn Rubio (Kevin); and his great grandchildren, Lily, Xander, Liam Howell, Abby and Evie Needham.
