It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Ervin Beasley Sr. of Fayetteville, North Carolina, who passed away on July 13, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Wilson Beasley and Erma Nell Bundy Beasley; his son James Ervin Beasley, Jr. (Katie); and his siblings, Ervin Wilson Beasley and Barbara Roman.

He is survived by: his wife Gwen R. Beasley; his daughters, Patricia Stancil (Doug) and Terri Beasley; his sisters, Carolyn Turner and Nancy Carter; his grandchildren, Devin, Nicole, Addison and Harper; and his great grandchildren, Bryce, Noah and Taylor. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

In leu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or to the Fayetteville Animal Protective Society.
