James Harrison Berry Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 30, 2025, at the age of 85, James Harrison Berry of Fayetteville, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Berry and Catherine Berry; his brothers, Daniel and Archie Berry; his niece Kelli Sojka; his close friend Effie "Marie" Moore; and his sister-in-law Lina Marley.
He is survived by: his daughter Denise Curnew (Terry); his grandsons, David Simmons (Stephanie) and Harold "Trey" Jones Goodwin III (Lakin); his great grandchildren, Eva Simmons, Holton Goodwin, Lexi and Lily Simmons; and his siblings, Jean Currie of Raeford, Oscar Berry of Raeford, Guy Berry (Margaret) of Fayetteville and Cathy Sojka (Frank) of Fayetteville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions in James' honor be made to any charity of one's choice.
