It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Robert Keifer of Fayetteville, North Carolina, who passed away on July 20, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Keifer and Mildred Lehr Keifer; and his siblings, Linda Keifer and John Keifer. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia S. Keifer; his daughter Lourie K. Cosper (James); his stepson Joshua S. Walker; his grandchildren, William Cosper (Beth), Kiefer Cosper and Elizabeth C. Kane (Christopher); and his great grandchild Hewlet Cosper.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home (545 Ramsey St, Fayetteville, NC 28301). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Jernigan-Warren Chapel (545 Ramsey St, Fayetteville, NC 28301). A burial was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lafayette Memorial Park.
