With profound sadness, we say goodbye to James Madison Kizer of Fayetteville, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Madison Quincy Kizer and Mary Westbury Kizer. He is survived by: his wife Linda Lytch Kizer; his children, James "Jimmy" Madison Kizer, Jr. (Marymelda) and Mary Jac Kizer Kellam (John); his sister Mary Elizabeth "Beth" Hillman (Reggie); and his grandchildren, James Samuel "Sam" Kizer, Mary Madison Kizer Futrell (Wessley), Mary Katherine Kellam, Caroline Kellam and Anna Grace Kellam.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Haymount United Methodist Church (1700 Fort Bragg Rd, Fayetteville, NC 28303). A committal service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM and at 3:00 PM at the Cross Creek Cemetery (280 Lamon St, Fayetteville, NC 28301). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Haymount United Methodist Church (1700 Fort Bragg Rd, Fayetteville, NC 28303).
