He was predeceased by: his parents, Madison Quincy Kizer and Mary Westbury Kizer. He is survived by: his wife Linda Lytch Kizer; his children, James "Jimmy" Madison Kizer, Jr. (Marymelda) and Mary Jac Kizer Kellam (John); his sister Mary Elizabeth "Beth" Hillman (Reggie); and his grandchildren, James Samuel "Sam" Kizer, Mary Madison Kizer Futrell (Wessley), Mary Katherine Kellam, Caroline Kellam and Anna Grace Kellam.
