Though James may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those James touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Rowe; his children, James Rowe Jr. (Theresa), Janet Rowe, Lori Williams, Michael Bagley (Kala) and Chandra Reynolds; and his brother Larry Long. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 9:00 PM to 12:00 AM at the Wiseman Mortuary (431 Cumberland St, Fayetteville, NC 28301). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Wiseman Mortuary Chapel (431 Cumberland St, Fayetteville, NC 28301). A burial will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery (8220 Bragg Blvd, Spring Lake, NC 28310).
