It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Lorenzo Wright (Fayetteville, North Carolina), who passed away on May 22, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. As James departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though James may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy James leaves behind.
He is survived by: his sisters, Ola Harold of Eastover, JoAnne Elliott of Baltimore, MD and Gwentalyn Wright of Fayetteville.
Viewing was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Herring Funeral Care & Cremations (2720 Murchison Rd, Fayetteville, NC 28301). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
