With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janice Lee Mintz of Fayetteville, North Carolina, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on May 25, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Janice is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Janice's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Derwood Downing and Margaret Onita Conklin Kent; her husband Raymond J. Mintz; and her son Raymond Gary Mintz. She is survived by: her children, James Mintz (Rose) of Fayetteville and Deborah Mintz Lynch of Fayetteville; her brother Donald Kent (Jo) of Texas; and her sisters-in-law, Gerry Gray of Stedman and Alma Mintz of Clinton. She is also survived by five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.
