In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Jeanette had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Jeanette may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her husband Aaron Purvis; her parents, Mary Lee Myers and Leon Hardesty; and her brothers, Donald, Joseph and Clarence.
She is survived by: her sister Natalie; and her sons, Vance and Patrick. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM and from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A burial will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Louisiana National Cemetery (303 Mount Pleasant - Zachary Rd, Zachary, LA 70791).
