She was predeceased by : her parents, James Coupland and Jewel Coupland; and her former life partner Howard Ward. She is survived by : her husband John H. Roberston; her daughters, Jeanine Cotton (Chuck) and Dawn Shepard (Michael); her grandchildren, Taylor McGovern (Lindsay), Lauren Shaffer (Jeff), Sam Shepard and Emily Shepard; her great grandchildren, Aiden, Asher and Austen; and her brothers, Donald and Billy. She is also survived by many other family members and dear friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the St. Matthews United Methodist Church (202 Hope Mills Rd, Fayetteville, NC 28304). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, Jeanette would undoubtedly and selflessly request that donations be made to the Parkinson's Foundation in honor of her late husband, Howard.
