With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce Ann Smallwood (Fayetteville, North Carolina), who passed away on December 24, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Joyce may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Joyce touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her husband Stewart Smallwood; her son Terry Smallwood; and her children-in-law, Laurie Smallwood and Kim Nazarchyk. She is survived by: her daughters, Gail Nazarchyk and Deborah Hubbard (Steve); and her siblings, Otho Tew, Jr. and Maxine Neidigh. She is also survived by her 7 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; great great grandson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Music Ministry at Cedar Falls Baptist Church.
