She was predeceased by: her parents, Empie A. Beard and Edna Hall Beard; her former husband William C. Jones, Jr.; and her son William A. Jones. She is survived by: her husband John M. Johnson; her daughter Nancy J. Denney (Paul); her grandchildren, Addison Denney (Tricia), Brandon Denney (Katie) and Chandler Denney (Albrie); and her great grandchildren, Cyrus and Robyn. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Lafayette Memorial Park.
