He is survived by: his wife Bharti; his daughter Pooja; his son-in-law Rudresh Mahanthappa; his grandchildren, Talin and Freya; his great grandchild Amit; Anna Moreland.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Care Clinic of Fayetteville or Friends of the Cancer Center – Cape Fear Valley Health Foundation.
