It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kenneth Lee Knight of Fayetteville, North Carolina, born in Darlington, Maryland, who passed away on April 9, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Paul R. Knight and Bessie H. Knight; his siblings, Paul T. Knight, Donald E. Knight, Virgil "Bucky" Knight and Janice K. Fortson; his grandson Matthew D. Knight; and his brother-in-law Dennis Hungerford.

He is survived by : his wife Sakiko N. Knight; his children, David L. Knight, Rickey D. Knight (Stephanie), Barbara Taylor (Johnny) and Janet Mooney (David); his grandchildren, Dallas, Anthony, Craig, Ashley, Joni, Tiffany, Shyann and Hadley; his great grandchildren, Tori, Landon, Julia, Hayden, Maddox, Olivia and Hendrix; and his sister Jane Hungerford. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great-granchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:50 PM at the Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home (545 Ramsey St, Fayetteville, NC 28301). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Jernigan-Warren Chapel (545 Ramsey St, Fayetteville, NC 28301). A committal service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery.
