He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul R. Knight and Bessie H. Knight; his siblings, Paul T. Knight, Donald E. Knight, Virgil "Bucky" Knight and Janice K. Fortson; his grandson Matthew D. Knight; and his brother-in-law Dennis Hungerford.
He is survived by: his wife Sakiko N. Knight; his children, David L. Knight, Rickey D. Knight (Stephanie), Barbara Taylor (Johnny) and Janet Mooney (David); his grandchildren, Dallas, Anthony, Craig, Ashley, Joni, Tiffany, Shyann and Hadley; his great grandchildren, Tori, Landon, Julia, Hayden, Maddox, Olivia and Hendrix; and his sister Jane Hungerford. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great-granchildren.
