He was predeceased by: his parents, Locke Whitted and Sadie Whitted; his brothers, Locke Whitted, William Howard Whitted, Lawrence Whitted and Henry Whitted; and his stepsister Jeralene Sinclair.
He is survived by: his sisters, Lillian Downey (John) of Durham, NC and Doris Johnson of Brooklyn, NY; his stepsiblings, Shirley Currie of St. Paul, NC and Jimmy Sinclair of St. Paul, NC; and his sister-in-law Gertrude Whitted (Locke) of Brooklyn, NY. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Cunningham & Sons - Fayetteville (3809 Raeford Rd, Fayetteville, NC 28304). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
