She was predeceased by: her parents, Wesley Butts and Florence Hayden Butts; her brother Charlie Blair; and her husband Thomas Wayne Nelson. She is survived by: her children, Tammy Duarte (Oscar) of Holly Springs, Nancy Gaddy (Fin) of Manteo, NC and Tommy Nelson, Jr. of Fayetteville; her grandchildren, Brown, Charles Gaddy and Kayla Nelson; and her great grandchild Brielle Nelson.
