He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Wassel (Polochacz) and Edward Jacob Wassel; his brother Paul; his sister-in-law Karen Wassel; his sister Charlotte Wassel Brunetto; his grandchildren, Ethan Wassel, Kennedy Edwards and Madison Kauffman (Joey); and his great grandchild Sage Kauffman.
He is survived by: his children, Louis (Erika) of Arlington, VA and Nancy Edwards (Dennis) of Fayetteville, NC; his significant other Dianne Emmick of Camillus; his brother Peter Wassel (Linda); and his brother-in-law Joel Brunetto. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews in his large and loving extended family.
