Katie Lesica wrote a sympathy message

“We loved margaret! She was so witty and kind and her heart was so big. My children, maile and jonathan, were all the better for having margaret as a teacher at st. Pat’s. Jonathan thought so much of mrs. Hast that he asked her to be the speaker for the eighth grade assembly for graduation his year. And what a speech she gave. Marvelous. A donation in memory of both margaret and george is being made to the care clinic by us. The lesica family (john, katie, maile and jonathan)”
