She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincent Giuffre and Ellen Giuffre; and her husband Martin J. Balsamo. She is survived by: her daughters, Christina Heir (Dan) of Apex and Michelle Walden (Kirk) of Fayetteville; her grandchildren, Jacob Heir (Sarah), Emily Heir, Alex Walden and Emily Walden; her great grandchildren, Tino Heir and Angelina Heir; and her sister Mary Backus (Jake) of Freeport, Illinois. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that memorial donations be made to a hospice organization of your choice in honor of Marian.
