He was predeceased by: his son Ryan Scholz; and his father Raymond Paul Scholz. He is survived by: his children, Zachary Scholz and Lauren Smith (Drayton); his mother Renate Scholz; his sister Yvonne Renee Scholz; and his pets, Pibbles, Maple, Moosey and Snowball.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sullivan's Highland Funeral Service (610 Ramsey St, Fayetteville, NC 28301). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Sullivan's Highland Chapel (610 Ramsey St, Fayetteville, NC 28301).
