She was predeceased by: her husband Oliver Godwin; her sons, Joseph "Andy" Meaut and Kenny Maynor; and her parents, Mary Magdalene Maynor and Herman Maynor.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Meaut (Karen Meaut) of Fayetteville, NC and Amy Olivia Hamlin of Woodbridge, VA; and her siblings, Frankie Maynor of Lumberton, NC and Linnie Seymore of Courtland, VA. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
