She is survived by : her children, Hubert Ray, Shirley A. Campbell, Edna McQuaige, Helen E. Newton (Melvin), Dorothea Pillow, Wilbert Ray (Carlotta) and Howard Ray (Delia); and her sisters, Mamie Johnson, Mattie Campbell and Hazel McAllister. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Wiseman Mortuary (431 Cumberland St, Fayetteville, NC 28301). A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Simon Temple AME Zion Church (5760 Yadkin Rd, Fayetteville, NC 28303).
