She was predeceased by: her husband Paul McDowell. She is survived by: her daughter Jennelle King (Bobby King); her grandchildren, Billy Denton (Kristy), Jeff Barfield, Rebecca, Tina, Shannon, Brittany King and Brandi Haithcock; her great grandchildren, Jacob, Jayce, Michael, Aubrey, Matthew, Brittany, Haley, Cameron, Elijah and Harper; her sister Carolyn "Doll" Matthews; her sibling's children, Vicky, Sherry, Debra and Jackie; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Brook, Courtney and Allen; and her close friend Latasha Blake.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rogers and Breece Funeral Home (500 Ramsey St, Fayetteville, NC 28301). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the New Testament Church of God (201 Dallas St, Fayetteville, NC 28306). A burial will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at the Fayetteville Memorial Cemetery (2881 Gillespie St, Fayetteville, NC 28306).
