With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Philip Richard Murphy (Fayetteville, North Carolina), born in Raleigh, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 26, 2025 at the age of 61. He is survived by: his wife Norma Murphy; his daughter Hannah Taylor; his son-in-law Alvin Taylor; his stepson Russ Scott; his sisters, Deborah Murphy and Lisa Martin; his brother-in-law Jeff Martin; his brothers, Michael Murphy (Jan) and David Murphy (Donna); his granddaughters, Emma and Alexa Scott; and his nieces and nephews, Madison, Ashley Martin, Matt and Jimmy Murphy.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Sullivan's Highland Funeral Service Chapel (610 Ramsey St, Fayetteville, NC 28301).
