She was predeceased by: her children, Darrick Keith Sims and Tracey Chanelle Sims; and her grandsons, Benjamin Jones and Jeremy Jones. She is survived by: her friend Ramona; her sons, Mykel David Sims Sr. (Kayonna), Jeffery Leeneil Jones (Sherri) and William Orlando Jones (Evelyn Jones); her sister Debra Hester; her sibling's children, Cedric Hester Jr., Kiana Hester, Toni'CoCo'Shaw and Dagmar'Cookie'Gray; and her grandchildren, Pierre Pouncy, Keith Jones, Michael Sims Jr. (Lakia Sims), Mariah Sims, Kavon Sims, Mykiala Sims, Nastashia Harris and Maurice Harris (Darlene Harris). She is also survived by cousins, relatives, and friends.
