He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Horace Lee Pate and Peggy Joyce Beasley Pate; his son Derrick Jordan Pate; his granddaughter Kacyn Shoemaker; and his sister Debra Pate Smith (Donald). He was also cherished by friends and co-workers.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM at the Jernigan - Warren Funeral Home (545 Ramsey St, Fayetteville, NC 28301). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Valley Hospice House, 2431 Legion Rd., Fayetteville, NC 28301.
