With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Robert Davis McCloud (Fayetteville, North Carolina), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Robert left this world on June 16, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edgar and Regina Roberta Carder McCloud; and his brothers, James Marvin, John Edgar and Kenneth Lee.
He is survived by: his sons, John and Kenneth; his father-in-law Dr. William Bray Whitehead; his children, Caroline Self (Ahren), Edward (Jacqueline), Janet Firmani (Mark), Annette Jimmerson (Jarrel) and Cheryl Helm (Mark); and also James. He is also survived by his five children, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rogers and Breece Funeral Home (500 Ramsey St, Fayetteville, NC 28301). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Rogers and Breece Chapel (500 Ramsey St, Fayetteville, NC 28301).
