He is survived by: his wife Ethylene L. Thompson Caldwell; and his sisters, Vera Sue Gerhardt, Linda Messer (Kay) and Judy Flores.
In accordance with his wishes, Robert's passing is commemorated through cremation, with a request for donations to local charities or the Salvation Army in lieu of flowers.
