She was predeceased by: her parents, William Mitchell and Stella Mitchell. She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bud" Bixby, Jr.; her daughters, Jackie Davis (JC Thomas), Paula West and Janet Leonard (Jay); and her grandchildren, Megan Hall, Jordan West, Ryan Davis, Taylor Leonard and Rachel Leonard. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Falcon Children's Home Christmas Party or to Cape Fear Valley Cancer Center.
