Sandra Venita Chavis Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sandra Venita Chavis of Fayetteville, North Carolina, who passed away on June 9, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Sandra departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Sandra may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Sandra leaves behind.
She is survived by: her children, Edward H. Chavis III (Kenda), William Michael Chavis and Joya Toson (Jeffrey); and her sisters, Patricia Cordell and Carol Poe. She is also survived by four grandchildren along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Haymount Presbyterian Church (2760 Rosehill Rd, Fayetteville, NC 28301). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
