It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shelby Jean Crabtree of Fayetteville, North Carolina, born in Hope Mills, North Carolina, who passed away on October 12, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father John Wesley Collier, Sr.; her husband Harlan Clifton Crabtree; her son Ronald David Crabtree; and her brother John Wesley "Tony" Collier, Jr. (Jean). She is survived by: her mother Louise Faulkner Collier; her children, Debra Crabtree Sherrill (Steve) of Eastover and Bryan Eugene Crabtree (Pamela) of Eastover; her grandchildren, Lauren Reites (Steven) of Vander, Brittany Berrier (Jon) of Benson, Megghan Tate (Jordan) of Fayetteville, Gabriele Sherrill of Fayetteville, Isaac Crabtree of Eastover, Melissa Burgess (Bob) of Elizabeth City, Amber Moquin of Thomasville, Jessie Pinnix (Jacob) of Climax and Sarah Crabtree of Thomasville; and her great grandchildren, Evan, Cameron, Emma, Aaron, Liam, Isla, Sumerlin, Oliver, Walker, Tyler, Christopher, Sydney, Alexis and Dalton.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Fayetteville Community Church, 2010 Middle River Loop, Fayetteville, NC 28312.
