She is survived by: her parents, Bettie Vinson Swain of Douglasville, GA and Willie Swain of Ahoskie, NC; her husband Alexius McClain; her children, Anastacia Winter McClain' and King Alex McClain of Fayvetteville, NC; and her sisters, Eboni S. Melson (Roderick) of Douglasville, GA and LaVen Swain of Douglasville, GA. She is also survived by one nephew; four nieces, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Hunter's Funeral Home - Ahoskie (123 Dr Martin Luther King Jr Dr N, Ahoskie, NC 27910).
