She was predeceased by: her parents, Vannas Smith and Cora Smith; and her pet Duncan. She is survived by: her husband Roger; her son Christian Compton; her daughter-in-law Misty Compton; her grandchildren, Bradley and Kaitlyn; and her great grandchildren, Jasper, Ember and Rhaelynne.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a cause that held a special place in Vanna's heart.
