We are sad to announce that on August 20, 2024, at the age of 82, Vera Whitted of Fayetteville, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Vera may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She is survived by: her husband Duncan J. Whitted III; her sons, Duncan J. Whitted, IV and Vernon M. Whitted; her sister Clara L. McNeill (George); and her grandchildren, Mia A. Whitted and Peyton A. Whitted. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
