He was predeceased by: his parents, Emma Jane Locklear and Welton Locklear, Sr.; his close friend Gloria Mack; his former wife Paulette Locklear; his grandson Ricardo Hall; and his great grandchild Heaven Sanders.
He is survived by: his children, Joann Tyler, Marty Locklear, Eugenia Locklear and Brian Locklear; and his grandchildren, Latasha Brewington, Dustin Brewington, Megan Brewington, Anastasia Brewington, Julian Locklear, Kya Locklear, Cheyenne L. Jeffrey, Jamie, Jessica Cummings, Joshua, Jered, Brian, Brooklynn and Charleigh Locklear.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Rogers and Breece Funeral Home (500 Ramsey St, Fayetteville, NC 28301). A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at the Cumberland Memorial Gardens (4509 Raeford Rd, Fayetteville, NC 28304).
