She was predeceased by : her parents, Lester A. Harding and Cora Hicks Harding; her husband Theodore Blake "Dick" Blount, Jr.; and her brother Lester A. Harding, II. She is survived by : her sons, Ted Blount (Robyn) and Tim Blount (Tammy); her grandchildren, Lauren Blount-Klein (Ben), Travis Blount (Elizabeth) and Tyson Blount Jones (Max); and her great grandchildren, Eleanor Frances Jones, Max Frederick Jones IV and Jackson Baker Blount.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM at the Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home (545 Ramsey St, Fayetteville, NC 28301). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Jernigan - Warren Chapel. A committal service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Lafayette Memorial Park (2301 Ramsey St, Fayetteville, NC 28301).

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Victory United Methodist Church, 404 Quality Road, Fayetteville, N.C. 28306.
