He was predeceased by: his father John Clate Eller, Jr.; his son Johnathon Cole Eller; and his stepfather Larry W. Hamby. He is survived by: his mother Kathy Hall Eller-Hamby of Ferguson; his children, Jaedyn Reece Eller and John Clate Eller, IV of North Wilkesboro; and his siblings, Kristy Eller Minton (Chris) of Wilkesboro, Amy Eller Anderson (Chester) of Moravian Falls, Angela Hamby Hill (Pat) of North Wilkesboro and Mark Alan Hamby of Traphill.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home (270 Armory Rd, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Lewis Fork Baptist Church Cemetery (395 Lewis Fork Baptist Church Rd, Purlear, NC 28665).
Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to Maple Springs Baptist Church, 120 Casey's Branch Road, Purlear, NC 28665.
