He was predeceased by: his father John Clate Eller, Jr.; his son Johnathan Cole Eller; and his stepfather Larry W. Hamby. He is survived by: his mother Kathy Hall Eller-Hamby of Ferguson; his children, Jaedyn Reece Eller and John Clate Eller, IV of North Wilkesboro; and his siblings, Kristy Eller Minton (Chris) of Wilkesboro, Amy Eller Anderson (Chester) of Moravian Falls, Angela Hamby Hill (Pat) of North Wilkesboro and Mark Alan Hamby of Traphill.
