He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Fred and Annie Mae Walsh; his wife Eloise Pearson Walsh; his siblings, Sue Walsh Shew, Cleo Walsh Huskey, Bob Walsh, Bernard Walsh, Larry Walsh and Zelotese Walsh; his nieces, Melody Shew Mathis and Diana Walsh Goodman; and his nephew Tommy Huskey.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sandy Walsh Tilley (David) of North Wilkesboro, Amy Walsh Braica (John) of High Point and Beth Walsh Cheek (Al) of Advance; his grandchildren, Josh Tilley (Taylor), Matthew Tilley (Cory Johnson), Julianna Knollmann (Alex), Hunter Day (Shelby), Will Cheek and Katy Cheek; his great grandchildren, Hannah Tilley, Kennedy Tilley, Joanna Tilley, Whit Knollmann, Eloise Knollmann and Beau Knollmann; and his friend Kathy Woods.
