She was predeceased by: her parents, Golden Sammons and Lorraine Sammons (Parsley); her siblings, Irene Saba, Golden Sammons Jr. and Arlend Sammons; and her grandson Daniel Stevens.
She is survived by: her husband Bobby "Bob" Moore; her children, Suzanne McDevitt (Mark) and Robert Moore; her grandchildren, Amy Davis (Clint), Kayla Roberts (Chris), Kelsey Moore (Devon Taylor), Katelyn Stevens and Caroline Holtzman (Jacob); and her sister Betty Sue Sammons. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Groce Funeral Home (72 Long Shoals Rd, Arden, NC 28704). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location. Libby was a longtime member of Reed Memorial Baptist Church starting in 1968, before becoming a member of Trinity of Fairview following Covid-19.
